Intpw YH4S USB 3.2 Hub (7-in-1)

Been needing something like this for my gaming setup. I also like that it came with two cords

The hub comes with a 30 watt charger and two usb cables, one with type-a and the other has type-c for broad compatibility. The four blue ports support usb 3.2 standard, which operates at 10gbps. The other three ports support quick charge, but is not used for data transfer. The aluminum body looks stylish, and matches well with computers with a metal finish. It is a great way to add more usb ports to your computer, as some manufacturers like to reduce ports in the name of shrinking the computer chassis.

This new hub replaces an old, becoming unreliable one after a decade. It has four USB-A 3.2 ports, 3 USB-A power ports for charging in a metal case, connects via USB-C, and includes all necessary cables and a power adapter. I use it mainly for backing up data and photos to external drives; charging features aren't needed due to my surge protector power strip as several ports for charging. I did try devices like my wireless charger and selfie light both worked fine, and data transfer speeds seemed to be consistently fast. I do save 100+ megabits photo files at times. Although I didn't test the advertised 36-watt charging. I find this hub compact, efficient, and recommend it and worth the price.

This 7 Port Powered USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub from intpw functions just as I expected. Within the USB Hub’s display box play box is the 7 Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub, a 3.3' ft USB-A to USB-A cable, a 3.3’ ft USB-A to USB-C cable, a Power Adapter, and a user manual. The Instructions and Warnings are pretty simple, they state that this USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub is Plug and Play, Supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps data transfer speed on 4 of the 7 ports. 3 of the ports are dedicated to charging, with one of those USB ports being QC 3.0 capable and up to 18W. The other 2 USB, “INT-POWER” charging ports are Fast charge capable, up to 2.4A. Reading the user manual mentions that those 2 INT-POWER ports share that 2.4A, so it’s something to keep in mind. The only issue I had with this USB Hub is that both of the included cables are only a bit over 3’ long. This may not be much of an issue if using this USB Hub with a laptop, though for most desktop use, you’ll need a longer USB cable. I had some extra USB 3.2 cables around, so I was alright. The computer I hooked this USB Hub up to had no problems recognizing the device. I’ve plugged a keyboard, mouse, and some USB 3.0 and 3.1 memory sticks, and everything has performed as I expected. There is a small green LED color light on the front of the device to let you know when it is powered on, and it’s not shockingly bright, but subdued, which is a nice touch. Too often I encounter electronic devices that have super-bright LED power lights. So far, this 7 port USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub is functioning well and as expected. If anything changes, I’ll update this review.

Nice looking and apparently well made aluminum cased hub in slanted design. *Some observations* - comes with both a USB A to A, and USB C to A for connection to PC or Laptop; all cables are thicker than usual and very stiff; the USBs are short, 38”, makes it harder to connect to a PC tower and place on desk. - actually a 4 USB and 3 Power/charger Hub. The QC 3 meets expectations, but the other USB ports are only 2.4A and downgraded my wireless phone charger for Samsung from “Fast charge” to “wireless charge” adding an hour to the charge. - one big design flaw are the input/ output cables …. Both are on the side, and to make things worse on opposite sides, should have been on the back or at minimum on both on one side. - I did not check the transfer speed but mouse, keyboard, and video input worked ok. Because of the 2.4A charger on top of the bulky cables, plug, and odd design I had to drop it to a 3/5. It’s wasted space and could have either been another QC or changed to more input/data hubs. (*MY RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or dangerous).

Ordered this to charge multiple things at once. Worked great for a few months then started blinking and bit charging. Contacted the manufacturer with my issue through email and it took about two days, before they responded. They said no problem we will send you a new one. They did! Two days later it arrived and back to charging wish all ports were charging. The first port is quick charging and the next two are normal charging. The last 4 are data ports. They will charge items but much slower.

Pretty good! 4 port hub + 3 ports for power. I love, Love, LOVE the angled front plate. Makes using the USB ports SO MUCH more comfortable than straight up, or straight to the front. My only complaint is (INTPW are you reading this?)... Why is the DC Power connector on the left side and the USB to PC on the right side? With wire-travel the whole shebang takes about 8 width of desk space. Put them on the back! So far it works great. 5 Top reviews from other countries Meghin It's as though it failed on queue I bought this USB hub in October of 2023. Funny enough my coverage was for 2 years (hahhaha!). Suddenly in the last 2 weeks the superfast charge port on the far left and the one next to it hiccup whenever anything is plugged in. It's SUPER ANNOYING that my phone starts charging then stops then starts then stops and over and over. So I started using the ports on the right side which worked for a couple of days, now they do it too. Nothing happened, it's been in the same spot on my desk since I got it. While it worked it was great. Spontaneously developing these issues in 2 years that make it unusable gets it a 1 star. 1

Love this product

Looks very clean, and the four 10Gbs ports work fine, but with the power plug on one side and the USB-A plug for data to and from my computer on the other side it makes it hard to find a good place to place it. I think it would have been better to have them on the back. I have to say I’m using this on an old Mac Pro tower, and the short 3.3 ft cables included with it makes it impossible to reach my and sit flat on my desktop, so for now I’m just letting it sit on the top of my Mac Pro tower. I have used all 4 USB-A 10Gbs data ports and they are all working. I have transferred files from an sd card reader, a usb flash drive, and an Action camera, and used the charging ports to charge a portable power brick and my iPhone with no problems so far. Haven’t had it long enough to confirm some of the other reviews about poor USB port quality, but for now my only issue is the short, stiff, thick USB-A to A & USB-C to A, and where they plug into the sides of the device instead the back.

Heavy well built USB hub, recognized immediately once plugged into windows 11. Well made, comes with 2 usb cables one being usb c, nice touch. The price can be tweaked a little but its quality your paying for. Time will tell how it holds out. 2 thumbs up.

This is a nice power station that does everything it was supposed to do, but the power cord is too short! They provide two USB cables for charging, but I would've preferred skipping on those extra cables and provide a longer power cord otherwise this is a highly effective power station.

Bought it for a MacBook Air but I’m using it on my Gaming PC. Short power cable about 3 ft , And ncludws 2 white cable one USB to usb then usb to usb-c . Overall seems to be a nice addition to any setup.

This is a nice USB Hub that works really well. Do make sure to notice that three ports are for data transfer only and will not charge devices.

I'm a frequent buyer & reviewer of USB hubs and have seen my share of useless devices. This powered 7-port hub is on the very opposite end of this spectrum and is an excellent worker. The build quality is solid, and the ports are color-coded to let you know which one you can use for charging and which are data-only. I don't actually need or use the charging option, but its availability points to the ports being able to handle more demanding data devices, and it shows. I'm able to get USB3 level speeds that are limited by the portable drive unit's capability, for multiple units running off the same hub. This hub is actually very similar looking to a 4-port hub I purchased elsewhere, which was about the same price as this 7-port, and performs better. I also like the look & style of this item. Definitely recommended...
