Intpw P9R PRO USB C Hub (10-in-1)

Nice hub works great looks great. Works as expected.

Just got this and it works great. Only thing I wish was that I could have chosen a left hand cable or right hand cable as the ports on my laptop are on the left side of the keyboard and this has the cable coming from the right side which just means the cable is in the way and it has to be closer to my Mac than I wish.

Sturdy dock. Thick sturdy cable as well. Previous dongle I used for this purpose was short and ended up shorting out, this didn't seem like it would have that problem.Only issue is that the main reason I got it, the ethernet port. did not work on my Macbook. chipset likely not compatible. Heard that its hit or miss with macs for some reason.Returning it to find something compatible with my mac.

The first things that stands out is how well built this unit is; it feels solid and has just enough weight that with the rubber feet, it's not going to be sliding all over your desk. It's small enough that it could live in your backpack but given the ports, it's more appropriate for a fixed desk location where an ethernet cable can be plugged in on one side an an HDMI cable feeding up to 4k video to your monitor from the other. On the front panel are a pair of USB-A 2.0 ports intended for keyboard and/or mouse, two USB-A 3.2 ports and a USB-C 3.2 port. A second USB-C port is provided for power passthrough so if this dock is taking up your laptop's only USB-C port, you can still charge with the dock connected. My only small quibble with the design is that on the back, between the ethernet and HDMI ports, you'll find an SD and micro-SD port. As a photographer, I'd want these on the front of the device where I can see them and easily pop cards in/out to copy images. However, if you're just wanting to use the SD card as an external storage device, this probably isn't so much of an inconvenience.

This USB hub works really well. It's size is small and it makes for a very functional extension of your USB-a and USB-c ports. I have added a hook and loop to this to stick it to the side of my laptop for easy convenience. I only have 1 USB-a and 2 USB-c on my laptop so this is great! It not only expands your amount of ports but it also allows for hardwiring network connectivity and adding an extra screen with the HDMI port. And if you thought that was a lot, well it also has 2 different card readers. a SD card reader and Micro-SD card reader. The power-in USB-c port can handle up to 100w PD which is what my laptop requires and it works great so you aren't losing a USB-c port to just power. It's plug-and-play so it's super easy to use. It has a really good weight to it and it feels solid and high quality. Overall I highly recommend this USB hub as it provides great value for the amount it's sold for.

Initially, I was a little sceptical about all the functions this little device has.I needed a converter from USB-C to RJ45 and came across this item.I’m happily surprised it works so well, network is stable and I can add many extra devices if I wanted to.I’m very happy and I’d recommend this item to anyone looking for more functionality than just USB-C to RJ45 networking.

This Intpw UBS hub feels to be of a strong, solid metallic construction, yet it's pretty lightweight. It connects into your computer via a USB-C plug. It has many portals -- 10 in all -- for a diversity of peripheral devices. But that can be misleading. A hub that lacks an independent power source relies on the computer's electricity to power the peripheral devices. And some of them require a lot of energy, especially those that have moving parts, such as hard disc drives. I have found that if I plug three HDDs into an unpowered USB hub, or even one HDD and two SSDs (which have no moving parts, yet require much energy), then not all of them can function. This Intpw USB hub has fast transfer speeds, and was easily recognized by Windows 11 on my laptop. But I only use it for peripheral devices that require less power (my flash drives, MP3 player) or that have their own power source (my printer). For my power hogs (HDDs, SSDs) I use a Rshtech hub, which has its own power source. This Intpw hub is fast and useful, provided that you don't fill up all its sockets with power hogs. If you do wish to use it for power hogs, you'll have to limit the number of sockets you use.

This is an excellent product, very user friendly and works as advertised. The one thing that I like the most about it, is the fact that I can review photos and videos from data cards on the device. GREAT BUY

Great ultra compact dock/ USB hub. I was surprised when it even worked on my Nintendo Switch OLED (not switch 2) for HDMI output when the USB PD was applied. The construction is metal and feels pretty high quality. The dock includes 2 USB 3.2 Gbps A type, 2 USB 2.0 A type for things like a keyboard / mouse, one USB 3.2 C type, HDMI output, 1Gbps Ethernet RJ45, Full size and Micro SD Card Reader, and a USB PD input to allow you to charge / power your PC. I got this as part of the Amazon Vine or I would not have selected it simply due to the compatibility listings. They do not mention switch compatibility or hand held PCs like Steam Deck or Lenovo Legion Go which is does work for. (Probably ROG Ally but I can't find mine right now). At this point in time the Switch 2 is not really compatible as the HDMI out and even the USB PD does not seem to work with it. On a surprising note the Ethernet does work on the Switch 2. Maybe in the future it may work but as of this time it does not. This dock also worked with my Samsung Note 10 Plus including the Ethernet and HDMI output. So for all of you The price for what you are getting is actually rather good on this. Most of the docks are about 50% more than this one. I agree with other reviewers that the PD input should have been in the side not on the top with the USB ports. I do like the SD Card reader in it as it will allow you to transfer files to and from SD Cards for camera or gaming handheld computers. This is much more flexible than one of the case specific docks for the portable hand held gaming consoles but they will have to lay flat on a surface rather than standing up but it is a trade off.

Just got this yesterday and I love it. Exactly as advertised and works great. The bonus is it is made of the same style aluminium as the MAC desktop and the same width as the MAC optional DVD disk so I mounted it on top and it looks factory. Very well made and heavy duty. I did order a 100W power supply for quick charging of components but it wasn't a problem and not really essential. Don't forget to register your intpw product for a lifetime warranty.

The most common use case for a hub like this is: you have a laptop that goes to work with you, and you want to have just one thing to plug/unplug. As such this is good but not ideal, both in the number and placement of ports. Without getting into deep details, assuming you are using this hub to charge your laptop, it gives you four available USB-A and one USB-C port facing you, and 1000baseT Ethernet, microSD(TF) and fullsize SD, and HDMI facing away from you. This is suboptimal on two levels: - Not enough USB-C ports. If you have other USB-C peripherals, you'll still have to plug them directly into the laptop. - Port placement doesn't reflect how this device will be used. MicroSD and SD are removable media - they should face the user so you can see them. SOME USB ports will be used for removable things like flash drives, but there will also be connections to things that live on your desk. Those connections should be on the back, out of the way. In summary, you'll be doing a bit of juggling to reach the ports, but this does work as advertised. The main thing that might be a show-stopper is the lack of additional USBC ports. Note on power: I have a MacBook Air and an Acer gaming laptop. The MacBook works perfectly. The gaming laptop requires more than 100W, so it only charges slowly through this hub (and you get a warning from Windows to this effect). This is clearly advertised in the item's listing, I'm just drawing your attention to it so you check your laptop's power requirements :)

The intpw 9-port Aluminum USB-C Hub, model P9R PRO looks elegant, good construction. good packaging and a detailed User Manual. I really wanted to like it, and make it my everyday USB hub, but it has some issues: 1) USB C power input: the concept is nice because you can connect the power input to the hub in order to power the Mac while the USB hub it attached to it. The problem is that the Mac's battery charging keeps going Off and On. Maybe it is due to my MacBook Pro in particular; I have not tested with other MacBook. 2) USB C 3.2 connection: it is indented and I have some USB flash drives that can't be attached to it. It would be better if the connector was flush with the case. 3) Performance: data transfer speed is not good. I have compared with my older USB hub. Copying a set of files, total of 24 GBytes from a micro-USB to the Mac's internal storage. With intpw, it took 15 minutes, while using my old hub, it took only 3 minutes. Same micro USB flash, same USB-C port on the MacBook Pro. Excluding the USB-C power input, everything else works and I have not experienced data transfer error. It is just slow. I will keep it as a backup unit.

I like that this docking station has such a small footprint for the number of ports you get. The built-in USB-C power pass-through ensures you won't loose being able to charge your laptop at the same time, while gaining micro-sd, sd, ethernet, hdmi, an additional USB-C, and 4 USB ports! Quality of the connecting cable is good, with sufficient length. A small form factor means it will fit easily into your laptop bag as well. The only design change I would suggest is to move the Micro-SD and SD card ports to the front of the unit for easier access when inserting or removing cards.

Works really well, bought it March 2025, I am using it at work to connect my laptop and monitor as well a direct internet line and I have no issue in the connection at all. Very well made and affordable!

This is a quality device. I am very happy with it. Very well made. Sturdy, compact, and it works without fail. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing this type of device. I searched and searched to find a product like this. All of the others didn't have the configuration I was looking for and were cheap and not well thought out like this one. The only thing I would change is a bit longer connection cable. That was remedied by buying a short 8K usb extension cable.
